The All-Star Football Officials Association was founded in 1946, as the Albany Football Officials Association,  to ensure local schools as well as visiting teams that football games on Friday and Saturday nights would be officiated with integrity and with consistency in applying all football rules. During the 63 years that our charter has been in existence, we have worked some of the most storied football games and been in contact with some of the finest players and coaches that the United States of America has produced.

During that time, we have grown each year up to working approximately 40 schedules with a membership of more than 160 dedicated officials.
